What an exciting final term it has been for the Ramsbury Beavers! The young
adventurers have enjoyed a range of activities that gave them hands-on learning and unforgettable experiences.
On Wednesday, June 5th, the Beavers took a thrilling trip to Hungerford Fire Station, organized by our dedicated committee member Josh King. The Beavers got an up-close look at what it means to be a firefighter, exploring the station, checking out the equipment, and even trying out the hoses! They were overjoyed to test their firefighting skills, making memories while learning about fire safety and the bravery involved in being a firefighter.

Next, the Beavers joined a session led by ARK, an environmental group devoted to protecting rivers. The session taught them about caring for our waterways, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental responsibility.

On June 22nd, eighteen of our Beavers embarked on this year’s Olympic-themed Beaver Babble. Blessed with beautiful weather, the day was packed with activities, games, and camaraderie, all embracing the spirit of the Olympics. It was a fantastic experience for everyone, bringing our Beavers closer together and building memories they’ll cherish for years.
To wrap up this eventful term, the Beavers will enjoy a talk from Heather Snook, the remarkable founder of Ramsbury Scouts! Heather’s stories about how the Scouts began will no doubt inspire our young members, reminding them of the importance of teamwork, community, and adventure.
What a wonderful term it has been! A huge thank you to everyone who helped make these experiences possible, especially our committee members, parents, and leaders who continuously support our Beavers in their Scouting journey. Here's to more exciting adventures ahead!
